Why Run or Walk?
May 9, 2010 will be a Mother's Day to Remember!
30,000 babies in the US die each year. The U.S. ranks #36 behind developing countries, including Cuba, on infant mortality - this is unacceptable!
The time has come to make critical and necessary improvements in infant health care.
Mother's Day is the day you can begin to make a difference. Join us as we dedicate the day and ourselves to improving emergency pediatric medical care in our nation's hospitals.
Race to Save Babies' Lives!
R Baby Foundation funds and advocates for fully-equipped, fully-staffed pediatric emergency rooms. Click here to learn why your local ER may not be ready to treat a baby. We want to mandate the highest standards of care in all children's and community hospitals in the U.S.
May 9, 2010 in Central Park, NY will be a fun-filled family day that raises funds and awareness for the critical work of the R Baby Foundation. Run, Walk (strollers are welcome). Cheer or Join our "Virtual Walk" - you can help from near or far.
Your Contributions Can Go Directly to Saving Babies' Lives
- R Baby is efficient - To date, approximately 90% of our total contribution proceeds have gone directly to programs designed to reduce the infant mortality in the U.S.
- R Baby gets results - R Baby Foundation has raised millions to fund grant programs that will dramatically improve the quality of care infants are given in Emergency Situations, the Emergency Room, and on the way to the ER. No other charitable organization is focusing on Pediatric Emergency Care.
Many doctors not specifically trained in pediatrics are welcoming our training grants since they know infant diagnosis and treatment is different than adult healthcare. Here is one of many positive MD testimonials from R Baby simulation training: "This is the best way to learn to care for a critically-ill infant."
- R Baby funds life-saving grants - These grants are directed toward a range of programs, including emergency pediatric training, guidelines and protocols, scientific research, equipment and treatments, rapid laboratory tests, and parent education. We partner with many of the top children's hospitals in the country to create programs that will benefit community hospitals around the nation.
The newly-launched R Baby MedExchange is a valuable resource for the pediatric medical community that will enable our grantees to share their results with hospitals and universities across the country.
Medical professionals can communicate, collaborate and create increasingly effective programs that save babies' lives.
Donors can also see exactly where their dollars are going, which illustrates how transparent and visible R Baby Foundation wants to be in order to show clear,
successful, measurable results. Click here to learn more.
